Creative Non-Fiction Writing Workshop for Memoir and Blogging
Facilitated by Edissa Nicolás-Huntsman, MFA

In this memoir and blogging series participants will draft a 250-500-word essay that is developed and revised in the workshop. The three workshops will focus on immediacy and energy of creative non-fiction storytelling used for memoir or lifestyle blogging. Individual work in the series may lead to longer work and/or complement an ongoing project. All participants are expected to create a new body (or bodies) of work during the workshop.
There will be in-class reading and writing activities as well as homework assignments during the series. Creative Non-Fiction Writing Workshop for Memoir and Blogging is a traditional writer’s workshop. Therefore, participants will share their work in the group in order to learn how to respond to and incorporate feedback and revise work in progress.
